Collarbone - Simon Minter

Request - hi!! Simon Minter imagine where vikk broke his collar bone at home instead of the snow and y/n is the paramedic that responds, and Simon asks her out? Thank you!!

As you hopped out of the ambulance from the passenger side, you heard a pained yell from inside the property that you were in front of. Both you and your partner looked round to try and identify where the noise was coming from. Grabbing your bag, you headed towards the front door. It opened immediately revealing a tall blond guy.

“Thank God you’re here, we don’t know what’s happened. We were just filming a video when Vikk fell over and hit his shoulder pretty hard.” The one who opened the door said, you nodded in acknowledgement. As your partner prepared the ambulance, you followed the blond through the house and eventually found the source of the yell. On the floor in front of you was a young man, probably early twenties, clutching his shoulder in pain. You knelt on the floor and placed your bag down.

“Hi there, my names (Y/N). Can you tell me yours?” You asked sincerely, taking in the situation. To you, this seemed like a broken collar bone from where the patient’s hand was positioned.

“Vikk, my name’s Vikk.” He replied through gritted teeth. You could see clearly that he was in a lot of pain.

“Ok then Vikk, can you tell me where it hurts?” You asked, running through the questions that you needed answering before you could begin any form of treatment.

“My shoulder, I think I broke something.” He whimpered out, you felt a lot of sympathy for him.

You ran through your final questions, finally being able to give Vikk some pain relief. You got him on to the stretcher and gave him some morphine to numb the pain. Once the medication began to kick in, you started wheeling him out to the ambulance. You were guided by the tall blond guy again. Once Vikk was loaded into the back of the ambulance you secured the stretcher and began to close up.

“Hey, is it alright if I go with him?” The blond asked. You nodded in confirmation, allowing him to jump in the back with his friend. You climbed in after him to monitor Vikk’s sats. As soon as the ambulance started to move, Vikk was out like a light. You kept a close eye on him throughout the journey while trying to get an explanation from his friend.

“I’m Simon, by the way.” He stated, you smiled at him. He was a sweet looking guy, pretty much your type too. You didn’t want to think about that right now though.

“I’m (Y/N).” You replied with a small smile. A short time later you had arrived at the hospital. Opening the doors for the ambulance, you disengaged the breaks on the stretcher and grabbed the back, while your partner grabbed the front. You wheeled Vikk down the ramp and into A&E, handing him over to the doctors and nurses. You gave the doctors information on the situation before heading back out to the ambulance to finish up your report. About half an hour later, you were ready to go again. Everything was cleaned, reports were filed, and the ambulance was put back into service. Before leaving the hospital though, you were caught by Vikk’s friend Simon.

“Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for your help today, I know that Vikk really appreciates it. I know this probably isn’t the best time to ask but could I get your number at all?” He asked sincerely. You couldn’t help but laugh slightly.

You pulled your note pad out of your pocket, along with your pen. Quickly you scribbled down your name and phone number before handing it to Simon.

“There you go.” You said with a smile, he returned it, thanking you again before heading in to see Vikk. You headed back over to the ambulance, climbing in the passenger seat. Your partner gave you a sideways glance.

“Don’t even say it.” You glared at him.

“Say what? I didn’t say anything!” He protested, you continued to glare at him.

“You didn’t have to. I know what you’re thinking.” You knew that it was a bit of a grey area to give a patient’s friend your number, but there was something about this guy, Simon. You weren’t sure what it was yet, but you were determined to find out.

Ranking Tommy’s Podcasts.

My ranking of Tommy’s podcast appearances. Just my personal preferences. xD

1- Eboys Podcast. It’s the first one he did so it’s extra special for me. But also the guys on it had a real understanding of streaming and youtube so were really able to engage with Tommy on a lot of good topics and had actually watched some Dream SMP stuff. The earlier look at Tommy while he was still getting used to his level of fame and going to college etc is great too. They were really nice and instantly hit a great dynamic.

2- Impaulsive. Controversial choice maybe xD? It helps that this one is really long (more is better!) and also they pushed Tommy for genuinely hard questions and it came with some cool insights showing his more sensible side. Tommy was on excellent form as much as some of the questions seemed a little much and they were sometimes talking around each other. That just heightened my enjoyment of it for some reason. xD

3 Colin and Samir’s interview. This is recent so its fresh in my mind. I might actually change my mind and rank it above impaulsive? Genuinely good to hear Tommy getting to discuss his opinions on youtube and the platform in depth. This one is very focused on the topic of youtube and content creation but it’s a satisfying talk all the same. 

4 What’s Good podcast. Tommy talking to Miniminter is a rare gem. It’s fun and charming and you got that good contrast of someone who grew really quickly as part of the Sidemen who was now more chilled out about youtube after having done it for years and was now in a stable place to Tommy who’s still really in the game of trying to grow. The topics themselves were less meorable - I believe Tommy had been on a lot of podcasts around this time so there’s less new topics but still excellent vibes. 

5 The Cutting corner. Now that’s where it gets technical. Podcast where Tommy can talk about being an editor and the making of his youtube vids and such. It’s a podcast where his editor Larry was on the week before, his other editor Elodie the week before that and yeah it’s the podcast where Tommy gets to nerd out about fonts for ten minutes. Really good if you’re fascinated by editing though more niche. Host is excellent. 

6 Banter. This was a hard one to place. It’s only 30 minutes and its Tommy chatting to Karl and Sapnap. Very cool but less special as it’s more like friends catching up with each other. Also its only 30 minutes. I like my podcasts long.

7 Chuckle Sandwich Podcast. Schlatt, Slimecicle and Ted Nivison - it feels like this one should’ve been great but I deducted a lot of points for them spending way too long talking about body spray. Ugh. Mostly pretty alright though, just I don’t think the subjects were that great.

8 Happy Hour Podcast. Alright but so many bland questions. Like why so long talking about sandwiches and explaining what minecraft was and trying to start beef with KSI? I don’t think the hosts quite realised Tommy’s level of fame at that time as clickbait drama was totally unneeded for views. xD Some good moments still as Tommy was funny but a bit weaker.

A silly thing for our OCs, but who would be the best behaved in the Doctor's to the worst. (Like regular checkups, nothing too bad.)

Morphine - as a medic himself and being dead inside he really doesn't care what's being done to him. Easiest to deal with. You could tell him he needs a surgery and he'd just shrug like ok whatever, now or do I have to come later?

Renfrew and Breeze - good and unproblematic babs. Don't like needles and painful stuff but won't show it (may complain a bit with Breeze may try being a bit flirty to lighten up the mood). It's no big deal but they do appreciate hugs afterwards.

MiniMint - she's fine, real good bean, deserves a sticker. If there are needles involved it will make her uncomfortable but she knows how to behave. Feels best if she's held tho 'cuz she's afraid she'll involountarily twitch and make things worse. But dw, that never happens. Probably won't ask for it but really appreciates some sweets afterwards. TerrorRain - will complain and be a bitch 'cuz he doesn't need no check ups. Will refuse to have stuff done to him, may need to be dragged in by someone strong enough even if it's just a check up. Doesn't fear needles but will not follow doctor's recommendations unless it later ends with shit going badly and him thinking "Uhh... I... probably should've listened." Much better chances of getting him to cooperate if the medic in charge is not Morphine. They're gonna be extra jerks to one another.

StrongSpark - he's a child of special needs. Can't understand what and why is happening around him and being blind surely doesn't help. Sure he spends a lot time at hospitals but that doesn't make him any less distressed or more used to it. The same procedures that normally take just a while stretch into hours as he needs a lot of preparations and comforting. And often some sedatives when he gets muscle contracture malfunction out of stress. Requires the most time of all listed here but is also most innocent. Sparky is the only bot Morphine has so much unending patience for. He gets lots of love from both his parents (yes, even Terry and Morph are capable of love). Years later he improves and manages to understand that the pain is usually temporal and just letting it happen will result in less of it. Oh and also he learns to talk a bit!

i wanna talk about these two games right here for a moment; dead by daylight and friday the 13th: the game. i just wanna talk about my experiences with the games and which one i prefer.

if you've played these two games, you'll know how similar yet different they are.

lets start with dead by daylight.

i remember buying this game a good year before it became free for ps plus members in august 2018. when i first played this game, i was LOVING IT. i loved it so much. i would spend five hours minimum just playing different matches back-to-back. i game share with one of my closest friends so i told her to download it and she loved it as well. we would call each other just to play. it was AMAZING. i played as both survivor and killer but i prefered survivor only because i find it more fun to do generators.

when it became free for everyone is when it became downhill for me. the servers werent as quick as they used to be. before it would barely take me a minute to find a game. now, it takes five minites to find one game and even then, it doesnt get played out properly because the killer always ends up leaving the game. the killers are also extremely op and its actually ridiculous. i played as the doctor recently and he seems to have been buffed becauseeeeeeee it was soooooooo easy to kill all four of the suvivors when they've only done one generator. they keep adding new killers, new survivors and new maps but the servers are horroble.

now for friday the 13th.

i bought this game not long after i bought dead by daylight because i saw miniminter (mm7 games) play it and i thought it was lit. when i bought it, i fell in LOVE WITH ITTTT! i went through a similar thing with this game where i would play it back-to-back for hours with my friends and some mates. i love the gameplay and the way how game chat works is elite; jason will only hear you when you're near him and you can only hear the other counselors when you're near them AND have a walkie talkie. there are a range of counselors to choose from and they all have unique stats which makes things interesting. this is the same for jason.

a couple of months - a year ago, i had a problem with the servers. i would be waiting for six minutes for a game just to he put in a lobby by myself and when i would want to play with friends or mates, i couldnt join them cos it'll make me stay on the main menu. this is happening for months and when it did, it was sucking the fun out for me. i ended up deleting the game but i installed it back recently so now it works (thank god).

the other MAIN issue i have is to do with how STRONG jason is. its ridiculous. once jason sees you, you're basically dead. there's no way to successfully escape him if he really wants to kill you. once he sees you, you're finished. it actually makes the game extremely boring because if you're seen at the beginning, you're basically finished and spectating the game for twenty or so minutes is just a drag. this lawsuit that they had also messed them over because they didnt have a chance to update the game. this games needs a serious update (buff jason, add a few more counselors, new ways to escape and new maps). this game had potential to be so much more but it never got the chance.

the game i like the MOST has to be friday the 13th. the reason why i say that is because despite the problems that it has, the gameplay is amazing and it IS a lot of fun. while they do have similar objectives, froday executes it a lot better than dead by daylight (despite the fact that jason is overpowered). i have more fun with that game that i do with dead by daylight. the more popular dbd got, the less fun it became, which is a shame since i was in love with that game once upon a time.

there are some things that i didnt touch but this is tumblr and so i didnt want to bore you to death 🤣
